1.       The regional committee of advisors will select one member as regional star in each area from the pool of that region’s state degree applications for that current year. Members who have received the state degree prior to the current year cannot resubmit their application for Star consideration.

2.       The Wyoming FFA State Officers will visit every Star Candidate’s SAE project. Regional star applications will be submitted to the state office by the date specified by the State FFA Advisor. The Wyoming FFA State Officers will select one State Star in each area by using the rubrics provided by National FFA to evaluate applications in each area.

3.       Each star candidate may submit applications in any of the four areas, but can only be selected in one area to move on for state star consideration. (constitution committee, convention 2016)
4.   Applications should include:  State Degree Application, Completed Star Battery and 3 Letters of Recommendation (one from students’ FFA Advisor is required).
